About The Song
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never, ever walk alone.
How wonderful is this promise! If you were reminded of these words every day, would you feel secure? You’ll Never Walk Alone is a gospel compilation album by Elvis Presley, released in 1971. Mainly, the album contains previously released gospel recordings of Presley dating back as far as 1957 and two of his unreleased tracks. “You’ll Never Walk Alone” is a reworked copy to that of Oscar Hammerstein II and Richard Rodgers’ standard.
An example of this promise fulfilled was when Jesus sent His disciples out into the world. He promised that He would go with them and stay with them, even to the end of time. This then is a reminder that if you have Jesus, you always have company and love. You are in His hands, wherever you are. As much as He owns us, we also own Jesus. He is the one possession we will never have to give up, leave behind, nor lose. He is always there. Sometimes we may run off somewhere else and leave Him way behind. However, He never ceases to hold us.
Frightening as it can be, whatever God asks you to do, He will give you the strength, bravery, and knowledge to achieve it. Despite our doubts and letdowns, we always find the power of the Holy Spirit belonging to us. Thus, in whatever endeavor, we will never walk alone.
Just because at times we feel afraid to do what we feel compelled to do, does not mean it is not from God. God will give us the assurance and valor we need even when we are afraid. What is one step of courage, big or small, you can take today to help walk the world? Let us make a choice to fill our minds with the truth in His Word. With this, we can take the needed action steps with His power.
If you are feeling alone today, hold on to these words. Seek to serve Him and feel the sincerity in His word that he will never let us walk alone. Before even wondering how you will make it through the day, realize that you are not alone.

Lyric
When you walk through a storm hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho’ your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never, ever walk alone.Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never, ever walk alone.
